NOTICE TO ALL PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

The enrolment process is suspended from  14th October 2009 until further notice. Concept College cannot accept any new applications. For pending applications please consult with us for clarity.

 

STEP1- Acceptance for a course
In order to be accepted for a particular study programme offered by CONCEPT CARE COLLEGE, you must first answer the following questions:

Do you have qualification and certificates that will be accepted for studies in the United Kingdom? (students must have a minimum of 4 GCSE and /or “O” Levels or equivalent as general entry qualification) for some courses. (Overseas students with first degree and work experience will be given preference assuming you are suitably qualified for acceptance on a course. Do you have sufficient funds (and/or suitable sponsors for college fees and living expenses for the duration of your studies?

Have you completed your application form correctly? Students must enclose:
1. Two passport photographs.
2. Attested photocopies of qualification/certificates.
3. Proof of any relevant work experience.
4. Payment of full fees.

Overseas students must pre-pay one full year’s tuition fees 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the course. This allows sufficient time for correspondence with the college and also for your visa interviews.

British students may confirm locally course places with the payment of a course deposit of £200 A Lower deposit may be accepted by special arrangement.

The payment of your fees can be made by International Money Order or by cheque drawn on a London Bank.

Step 2 APPLYING FOR YOUR STUDENT VISA TO ENTER THE UK

British Higher Commissions and Consulate throughout the world will be please to assist genuine students wishing to travel to the UK for full-time studies. Students must first obtain FORM IM2A (applicable for United Kingdom Entry Clearance) from the local British consulate Immigration section. Students will require the following documents in order successfully to complete the application forms. Please check the list:
(1) Two passport photographs.
(2) Valid passport.
(3) If you are a mature working student, a letter from your present employer allowing you study leave for the duration of your course.
(4) Final acceptance letter from CONCEPT CARE COLLEGE for your course confirming starting date of studies and payment of fees in full.
(5) Students will be required to produce a recent medical certificate.
(6) Name and address of sponsor and letter from sponsor to confirm that tuition fees and living expenses will be covered.
(7) Provisional date of departure for London Airline and arrival details.

Step 3-OBTAINING YOUR UK VISA.
If you have completed your checklist, you may now submit your Visa Application Form with Visa fee in local currency to the British High Commission or Embassy who will arrange a date for an interview. Students with EC passports will not require a Visa to enter the UK. Students from other countries may obtain a Visa at the Airport or Seaport of entry by providing the following documents but are advised to check the position with a British Embassy or Consulate before departure.
(a) Valid passport.
(b) Study leave letter (if currently employed).
(c) Find acceptance letter to confirm full payment of tuition fees.
(d) A banker’s draft or travelers cheques to cover living expenses.
(e) In the case of a sponsor student should provide a letter confirming sponsorship.
(f) Medical certificate.

LATE ARRIVALS:

Students are warned not to arrive after start date of the course. Students are normally required to arrive 2 weeks prior to the start date for their course.

Accommodation

There is ample accommodation available within easy reach of the college. In addition, the college operates its own accommodation service on behave of registered students. A limited number of places are available at the nearby college hostel. Rooms are provided and from £75 per week to £120 depending on the location and facilities.

The Colleges
CONCEPT CARE COLLEGE is a 'professional College' : you need to be admitted by a college to study here, though you do not need to choose one. There are two ways you can apply for admission.
You can apply to a college directly. You need to pick up an application form and complete, and return to the college. As well as accommodation, colleges provide many other recreational and social facilities.
You can make an 'Open' application. CONCEPT CARE COLLEGE may not provide the particular course you want but we work in partnership with local colleges and universities and can assist you get to them.

• If you want to gain or upgrade IT skills, the Computing Service offers a year-round programme ranging from introductory to advanced level.
• Every class has its own computer suite, and a very high proportion of student rooms are connected to other colleges network.
Like to learn a language?
Whatever professionalism you are pursuing, you can also learn a language from scratch or improve your existing skills at the College's Language Centre. You can study for fun, work towards a qualification, or follow a course catering for specialist needs, such as those of scientists or engineers.
And what about the teaching?
One of the most exciting things about CONCEPT CARE COLLEGE is that you will be taught by people who are experts in their fields.

The full fee (plus VAT at 17.5%) is payable in advance and includes the cost of all refreshments, luncheon vouchers and courseware. You will receive a receipted VAT invoice.
Unless otherwise stated all courses commence at 9.30am and finish at 4.30pm. Refreshments available from 9.00am.
Your joining instructions will include details of the course venue and a map.:
A full refund (less 20% administration charge) will be made for cancellation received not less than 15 days prior to the course. Cancellations after this time are charged at the full fee.
Substitutions may be made at any time. All we ask is that you let us know the change of name.
