Get your Diploma in Adult Care at London Cactus College

Our Diploma in Adult Care course is the most recent version of CACHE’s Health and Social Care Level 3 qualification (NVQ/QCF/RQF). This course replaces all previous versions.

Are you thinking about a career in Healthcare and Services? Do you see yourself making a positive impact on people’s lives when they are faced with physical, practical, social, emotional or intellectual challenges? Or maybe you’re already working in the health care sector and want to further your education and employment possibilities.

Our Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care could be a fit for you. It’s specifically designed as a follow-on from Level 2 or as an independent course that provides in-depth knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of working in the healthcare and public care sectors.

Learners will gain an understanding of the key attributes to safeguarding and protecting individuals and learning about the role of a healthcare worker. Learners will also develop knowledge in identifying the cause of infection, how to reduce the spread of infection, and learn about the roles and responsibilities of a health and social care setting. Learners can advance into employment in the healthcare and public care sectors, or progress to the next level in their education. This qualification will contribute to a deeper understanding of the subject area. The qualification also aligns to the Apprenticeship Standard for Lead Adult Care Worker.
